ShiftComplete gives care home managers one place for the rota and staffing levels, the training matrix, staff files, supervisions, fire, water and hoist checks, audits with actions, incidents, complaints and a one-click inspection pack grouped under CQC's five key questions. It works alongside your care-records system: care plans, medication records and daily notes stay where they are.

No software is CQC approved: CQC doesn't approve or endorse products. ShiftComplete keeps the records inspectors ask about up to date (staffing, training, supervisions, checks, audits, incidents and complaints) and puts them in one pack grouped under CQC's five key questions. The judgement is always CQC's.
Yes, alongside it. ShiftComplete doesn't hold care plans, medication records (eMAR) or daily care notes, so there's nothing to move and nothing to type twice. Your care records stay exactly where they are. ShiftComplete covers the staffing, compliance and evidence side of running the home.
Your data is stored in the UK, in London. You're the data controller and we're your processor. We keep personal details to a minimum: residents appear as initials or a room number on incident records, and DBS checks are recorded by certificate number and date, never the content. Staff files are only visible to the managers you choose.
Most homes start with the rota and the staff list, then add training records and checks over the first few weeks. Book a 15-minute call and we'll set it up with you. Staff use it on any phone, tablet or computer, in the browser, so there's nothing to install.
If you'd like to keep going, add a card and it's £2.49 per active staff member a month, with no minimum and no contract. If not, do nothing: there's no card on file, so you won't be charged.
Yes. Tell us where you're registered and ShiftComplete follows your regulator: CQC in England, Care Inspectorate Wales, the Care Inspectorate in Scotland, or RQIA in Northern Ireland. The inspection pack is grouped under your regulator's framework, and staff files track Social Care Wales, SSSC or NISCC registration where your staff need it.
