No software is CQC approved: CQC doesn't approve or endorse products. ShiftComplete keeps the records inspectors ask about up to date (visits, training, supervisions, spot checks, incidents and complaints) and puts them in one pack grouped under CQC's five key questions. The judgement is always CQC's.
Yes, alongside it. ShiftComplete doesn't hold care plans, medication records (eMAR) or daily care notes, so there's nothing to move and nothing to type twice. Your care records stay exactly where they are. ShiftComplete covers runs, visits, staffing, compliance and evidence.
Your data is stored in the UK, in London. You're the data controller and we're your processor. We keep personal details to a minimum: client notes are for access only (never key safe codes or care details), and DBS checks are recorded by certificate number and date, never the content. Carers only see the clients on their own run that day.
Most branches start with carers, clients and regular visits, then add training records and spot checks over the first few weeks. Book a 15-minute call and we'll set it up with you. Carers use it on their own phone, in the browser, so there's nothing to install.
If you'd like to keep going, add a card and it's £2.49 per active staff member a month, with no minimum and no contract. If not, do nothing: there's no card on file, so you won't be charged.
Yes. Tell us where you're registered and ShiftComplete follows your regulator: CQC in England, Care Inspectorate Wales, the Care Inspectorate in Scotland, or RQIA in Northern Ireland. Visit runs and check-ins work the same everywhere, and staff files track Social Care Wales, SSSC or NISCC registration for your carers.
